St Xavier's Campfire

Last Saturday we attended the St Xavier's Gathering & Campfire. It went on from day 'till night and the Form 4s did tried their best, hanging up the banners, creating a Torch of Light, pushing supporting items to everyone, designing a flag..... Unfortunately, the night didn't end well...

When I got there, the Form 4s were fixing up the Torch of Light and setting up the backdrop for the Campfire.


Then the Sun started to set and we enjoyed the beautiful view... While the scouts started the campfire.


Then the night began and everyone started getting into the mood...


Then it was time for the Torch of Light competition. Iris was in-charge of lighting the Torch but something awful happened! She burned her hand! Check out the video. And Sheng Hui presented the Torch while Iris was getting treated for her burn.

After that, our school performed a dance, followed by a free dance.


At the end of the night, we were given our souvenir and the prize-giving ceremony began. We may not have won the Overall but we got 2nd Runner-Up, Best Discipline, Best Deco and Best flag.
